9 Sep 1844 Richard Mather married Mary Scowcroft. Both were living at Limefield (where Mary was living in 1841).
Richard and Mary moved to Heap about 1850 (as daughter Alice was born in Heap). There were in Heap on the 1851 census.
In 1871, Richard (62) a Fuller, and Mary (62) were at Ben Mill, Heap.
In 1881, Richard (72) a retired Fulling Miller and wife Mary (72) were at Heywood, Heap. They still had unmarried daughter Susannah (43) and other family members with them.
In 1981, Richard (82, wid) was living with his daughter Frances (43) and niece Sarah J Mather (31) in South Bury.
Richard died in 1893. Richard and Mary are buried at St Paul, Bury
