Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1770 in Billinge and his baptism took place on February 25th, 1770 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

Thomas' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Cross. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Rawlinson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Henry, Isaac, Richard, Betty, Betty, Hannah, Margaret, Ellen and Alice. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 in 1840 in Billinge.²
