Thomas Mather

Thomas' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Cross.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Rawlinson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Henry, Isaac, Richard, Betty, Betty, Hannah, Margaret, Ellen and Alice.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 70 in February 1840 in Billinge.  He was buried on February 26th, 1840 at St. Aidan (Billinge).^1 2
