Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in 1773 in Billinge and his baptism took place on August 24th, 1774 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹²

Isaac's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Cross. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Rawlinson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Henry, Thomas, Richard, Betty, Betty, Hannah, Margaret, Ellen and Alice. He was the seventh oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 in August 1839 in Billinge. His burial was on August 14th, 1839 at St. Aidan (Billinge).²³
