John Mather

John's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Cross.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Rawlinson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Isaac, Richard, Betty, Betty, Hannah, Margaret, Ellen and Alice.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 78 on May 4th, 1842.
