Margaret Hodgkinson

Margaret was born on April 21st, 1755 in Newton le Willows and her baptism took place on May 8th, 1755 in St. Peter (Newton).¹

Margaret's father was John Hodgkinson and her mother was Elizabeth Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Rawlinson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Hannah, Alice, Betty, Mary, Peggy and Martha. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 84 on January 10th, 1840.
