Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in June 1830 in Billinge and her baptism took place on June 20th, 1830 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹²

Birth Notes

Elizabeth's father was John Mather and her mother was Sarah Anderton. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Betty Houghton. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Peter, James, James, William, John, Maragret, Sarah and Mary. She was the third oldest of the nine children.
