Sarah Ann Mather

Sarah was born in June 1840 in Billinge and her baptism took place on January 12th, 1840 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹²

Birth Notes

Sarah's father was John Mather and her mother was Sarah Anderton. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Betty Houghton. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Peter, James, James, William, John, Elizabeth, Maragret and Mary. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
