John Mather

John was born in December 1731 in Billinge and his baptism took place on December 28th, 1731 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

John's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Hannah Rawlinson. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and <unknown>. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth, Alice and Margaret. Margaret and John were twins. He died at the age of 71 in 1802.
