Peggy's father was Isaac Mather and her mother was Mary Moyers.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Cross. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Isaac, William, William, Mary and Hannah.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died on June 28th, 1810 in Billinge.  She was buried on June 28th, 1810 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹
