Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in 1806 in Billinge and his baptism took place on March 23rd, 1806 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

Isaac's father was Isaac Mather and his mother was Mary Moyers.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Cross. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, William, William, Peggy, Mary and Hannah.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 23 in December 1829 in Billinge.  He was buried on December 5th, 1829 in Wigan.²
