Richard Mather

Richard's father was Isaac Mather and his mother was Mary Moyers.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Cross. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, William, William, Peggy, Mary and Hannah.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 35 in December 1836 in Billinge.  He was buried on December 12th, 1838 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹
