Margaret Mather

Margaret was born in October 1816 in Billinge and her baptism took place on October 20th, 1816 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

Birth Notes

Margaret's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Higham. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Ann Berrington. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Thomas, Joshua, Ann, Catherine, Mary and Ellen. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
