Mary Mather

Mary was born in 1809 in Billinge and her baptism took place on January 29th, 1809 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

Birth Notes

Mary's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Higham. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Ann Berrington. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Thomas, Joshua, Ann, Catherine, Ellen and Margaret. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
