Richard was born on June 26th, 1877 in Billinge and his baptism took place on August 19th, 1877 at St. Aidan (Billinge).1 2  Richard's father was William Peach and his mother was Margaret Mather.  His maternal grandparents were William Mather and Ann Mather. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Ann.  He died at the age of 4 in April 1882 in Billinge.3
