Ann was born in June 1838 in Billinge.

Birth Notes

Ann's father was James Mather and her mother was Martha Mills. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Higham. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, James, Mary and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the six known children. She died before 1841.
