The marriage in 1761 is the only James Mather and Esther marriage, so the 5 births with both parents named show where they lived:
In July 1761, James Mather and Esther Mason married at St Peter's, Bolton.
In 1862, Robert was baptised whjile they lived at Walmesly. Then there are no baptisms with both parents named.
There are four more births from 1780 (after an 18 year gap), with abode as Withnell, so this could be another couple with a missing marriage record.

There are few adult deaths for son Thomas who was born about 1811 to 1815. In 1841, he was living with his assumed mother Betty at Over Darwen. The baptism is a perfect match and shows his father was JOHN from Mellor, a weaver.

Betty's farher is David Knowles, a weaver.
1833, Betty married Abraham Mather in Blackburn. They lived at Darwen and had 4 children before Abraham died in 1848, aged 35.
In 1850 and 1855 Betty had two more children. Eli Mather born in 1850 was registered as illegitimate although Millison Mather in 1855 still shows parents names and Mather+Knowles.
In 1851, Betty Mather (38) was a widow at Blacksnape, Over Darwen with sons Knowles, Abraham and Eli (7, 4 & 1)
In 1857, Betty Mather married George Sanderson. It is assumed Eli and Millison are George's (tbc). In 1860, they had a son George Sanderson when Betty was in her late fourties.
In 1861, George and Betty Sanderson (55 & 48) were living at 10 Back Red Earth Road, Over Darwen with step-sons Knowles Mather (16), Eli Mather (11), Millison Mather (5) and son George (1)

It appears that Millison is Abraham's daughter and Abram died between 1855 and 1857 when Betty re-married, but that is not the case. The only matching death for Abraham is in 1845, aged 35. Betty must have then found another partner and had two more children before marrying George Sanderson in 1857.
Abraham was actually born in 1811, the son of William and Betty, so about 37 when died.
