Birth Notes

John's father was Richard Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Alice Holt. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Mather and Ann Lightbown. He had three brothers named Richard, George and Joseph. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 in 1983.
