Richard Mather

Richard was born on April 7th, 1837 in Bury and his baptism took place on June 18th, 1837 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

Richard's father was William Mather and his mother was Mary Warburton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Barlow. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Martha, James, John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary and Ellen. He had an adopted brother named Thomas. He died at the age of 69 in July 1906 in Bury.²
