Thomas was not with the family in 1841, there is no birth registered, and he was not baptised. He is most probably the bastard son of Mary Scorcroft baptised 25 Mar 1838.
In 1841 Thomas (3) and assumed sister Martha (1) were in Noth Bury, living with their grandparents Thomas and Nancy Scowcroft (55 & 50, weavers) and mother Mary (30). There is also no birth registration for Martha Scowcroft.
In 1851, Thomas (13) is with Richard and Mary.
In 1900, Thomas died (61) in North Bury and is buried at St Paul, Bury.
