Harry was born in December 1874 in Bury.1  Harry's father was James Mather and his mother was Rachel Nuttall.  His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Sarah Butterworth. He had five sisters named Sarah, Mary, Martha, Betsy and Rachel.  He was the second youngest of the six children.



Harry's family with Jane Ann Warren

‌Harry and Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1898 in Bury.2  They had a son and a daughter, named Harry and Lucy.  There are no more children.
