Esther Mather

Esther was born in August 1840 in Walmersley and her baptism took place on July 27th, 1840 at Christ Church, Walmersley.¹²

Esther's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Mary Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Margaret Robinson; her maternal grandparents were John Hall and Alice Hall. She had three half-brothers named Robert, John and William. She died at the age of 30 in September 1870 in Walmersley. Her burial was on September 16th, 1870 at St. Paul (Bury).³
