It's not clear which Mary James married. The closest marriage to the birth of Rachel is Mary Stott in 1816, but that James was a Dyer, and James was a weaver.
In 1816, James Mather, a weaver of Redvales and his wife Mary had Rahcel baptised at Bury. There appear to be no other children.
