Mary was born on December 9th, 1841 in Bury and her baptism took place on January 30th, 1842. Mary's father was James Robinson and her mother was Rachel Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Mather. She had four brothers and a sister, named William, John, Joseph, Benjamin and Rachel.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at 2 months old in February 1842 in Walmersley.  Her burial was on February 15th, 1842 in Ashworth.
