In 1826 Mary Brereton of Broughton was sentanced to 14 days in Jail for larceny (theft). This may be another!

In 1851, Elizabeth Berkenhout (67, mother) were with her son John Tomlinson Berkenhout and his family. Her niece Phebe Tomlinson (56) was also living with the family. Pheobe was orphaned and deaf and dumb.
