Mary was born in 1767 in Barnhill and her baptism took place on May 20th, 1767 in Malpas.³ 
• Birth Notes

  We may have the wrong Mary.  Death and Burial records show Mary was 65 when she died, so born 1769.
  
  In the Brereton book, it is reported that Mary was born in Malpas in 1779, but this is 10 years different to her age at death (65, so born 1769).  1769 of Barthill.
  
  The marriage record confirms Mary Tomlinson is from Broxton.

She died at the age of 67 on December 19th, 1834 in Harthill.  She was buried on December 23rd, 1834 at All Saints, Harthill.^2 4

  The Harthill burial rercord for Mary Brereton, buried 23 Dec 1934, aged 65 was signed off by William Brereton, both her husband and Church Warden.
