Phoebe was born in February 1802 in Broxton and her baptism took place on February 21st, 1802 at All Saints, Harthill.1  Phoebe's father was Thomas Tomlinson and her mother was Martha Carr.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tomlinson and Phoebe Owens. She had five brothers and six sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Randle, John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha, Martha, Margaret and Ann.  She died at the age of 37 in May 1839 in Nantwich.  She was buried on June 1st, 1839 in Tarporley.2 3
