13 Feb 1840, (another?) Elizabeth Tomlinson (born Huxley, 1794), daughter of Thomas a farmer, form Alsagar, in the parish of Bartholomay, Cheshire married John Beresford at Wybunbury. Witnesses were John Brereton and Hannah Tomlinson.
In 1841, Elizabeth and John Beresford (both 45) were living at Broxton with James Bereforrd (10). John was an Ag. Labourer.
In 1851, John, a publican, and Elizabeth (both 57) were at Huxley, Waverton with James Bereford (23, a shoe maker).
In 1861, John and Elizabeth (68 & 67) were atill at Huxley, John an Ag Labourer. They were living in the Cottage next to the Farmers Arms, run by Samuel Dutton, (43, Inn Keeper). Elizabeth was born at Huxley, and was deaf.
