Martha was born on March 24th, 1806 in Harthill and her baptism took place on August 17th, 1806 at All Saints, Harthill.1  Martha's father was Thomas Tomlinson and her mother was Martha Carr.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tomlinson and Phoebe Owens. She had five brothers and six sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Randle, John, Elizabeth, Phoebe, Sarah, Martha, Margaret and Ann.  She died at the age of 1 in April 1807 in Malpas.  She was buried on April 14th, 1807 in Malpas.2
