Birth Notes

Amelia's father was John Tomlinson Berkenhout and her mother was Margaret Tomlinson. Her paternal grandparents were James Berkenhout and Elizabeth (Betty) Tomlinson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Tomlinson and Martha Carr. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Elizabeth, Georgina and Henrietta. She was the fourth oldest of the seven known children.
