John Tomlinson Berkenhout

John's father was John Tomlinson Berkenhout and his mother was Margaret Tomlinson. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Tomlinson and Martha Carr. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Elizabeth, Amelia and Henrietta. He was the third oldest of the six known children.
