Mary's father was John Havers and her mother was Phoebe Tomlinson.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Tomlinson and Martha Carr. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Sarah.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 24 in July 1852 in Nantwich.  She was buried on July 10th, 1852 in Nantwich.²
