Eleanor's father was Thomas Tomlinson and her mother was Elizabeth Lloyd. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Richard, James, William, Charles, Mary, Sarah, Ruth, Elizabeth and Martha.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 12 in August 1793 in Malpas.  She was buried on August 14th, 1793 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹
