1835, Martha was born at Acton.  Then the children were baptised at Daresbury, Aston By Sutton, St. Peter and recorded in the Daresbury All Saints, Cheshire Parish Records.

In 1851, William was a farmer of 160 acres at Preston-on-the-Hill employing 5 labourers.

William Brereton of Overton left a will 18-Oct-1804 before he died.  He names all his children, so this is a valuable document.
