William and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on October 28th, 1864 at St. John the Baptist (Chester) by Vicar W B Marsden and witnessed by Fanny Brereton & Alfred Fleet.1 They had three sons named William, Edward and Bertram. There are no more children.

He died at the age of 38 in March 1877 in Audlem. He was buried on March 14th, 1877 in Audlem.3
