Edward was born in September 1869 in Nantwich and his baptism took place on July 11th, 1869 in Audlem.¹²

Birth Notes

Edward's father was William Brereton Jnr and his mother was Sarah Ann Fleet. His paternal grandparents were William Brereton and Elizabeth Whittingham. He had two brothers named William and Bertram. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 18 on January 23rd, 1888.³
