William was born in Audlem, later a farming family from Wybunbury. Lydia and Josiah moved to Liverpool after their parents died
14 May 1807, William Brereton (about 30) married Jane Jones at Audlem. Jane was about 10 years younger then him.
William and Jane were born in Auflem, 5 miles SW of Wybunbury, both South of Nantwich, so probably not related.
In 1841, William and Jane (60 & 50) were farmers at Wybunbury with their children Mary (15), Lydia (13), Josiah (12) and three servants.
In 1851, William and Jane (74 & 64) were farmers at Village, Wybunbury.
