Ann was born in 1815.  Ann's father was John Brereton and her mother was Jane Harrison. She had a brother and eight sisters, named Joseph, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Harriet, Jane, Martha and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 11 in May 1826 in Gawsworth.  She was buried on May 21st, 1826 in Gawsworth.1
