John was from the Blacksmith family, son of Samuel, from Wybunbury. His brother George was also a Blacksmith.
1 Oct 1784, there was a marriage between John Brereton and Ellen Latham at Audlem.
11 Oct 1795, John Brereton married Elizabeth Salmon at Whitmore, St Mary & All Saints, Staffordshire, England.
In 1841, John and Elizabeth (70 & 60) are at Wrenbury, Audlem
In 1851, John and Elizabeth (84 & 76) are at Hankelow, Nantwich
In 1861, John and Elizabeth (94 & 88) are at Hankelow, Nantwich. John is a Blacksmith.
