Elsie was born in 1899 in Southport.1  Elsie's father was Bertram Brereton and her mother was Ellen Blundell.  Her paternal grandparents were William Brereton and Sarah Ann Fleet.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 67 on November 1st, 1966 in Southport.2 3
