Henry Curtmantle FitzEmpress, known as "Plantagenet", was born on March 5th, 1133 in Le Mans, Sarthe, France.  "Plantagenet"'s father was Count Geoffrey ("the Fair", "le bon") Plantagenet IV or V of Anjou and his mother was Princess Adelaide (Lady of the English) of England.  His paternal grandparents were King Fulk ("the Younger", "le Jeune") d'Anjou V of Jerusalem and Ermengard of Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry ("Beauclerc", "Fine Scholar") Plantagenet I of England and Princess Matilda ("Atheling") of Scotland. He had a brother named Hameline Plantagenet.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-sister named Emme.  He died at the age of 56 on July 6th, 1189 in Chinon Castle, Anjou, Indre-et-Loire, France.  He was buried on July 8th, 1189 in Fontevrault Abbey, Fontevrault, Maine-Et-Loire, France.


"Plantagenet"'s first family with Princess Eleanor of Aquitaine

‌"Plantagenet" and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony on May 11th, 1152 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Gascony.  They had a son and three daughters, named "Lackland", Matilda, Eleanor and Joanna.


"Plantagenet"'s second family with Rosamunde Clifford

‌"Plantagenet" and Rosamunde were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son named William.
