Judith was born about 0982 in Bretagne, France.  Judith's father was Duke Conan ("the Crooked") de Bretagne I and her mother was Ermengarde de Anjou.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Juhel Berenger of Rennes and Gerberga of Saxony; her maternal grandparents were Count Geoffrey ("Grisegonelle") d'Anjou I and Adelais de Vermandois. She had two brothers named Geoffroey and Judicaël.  She died on June 16th, 1017 in Normandie, France.

‌Judith and "the Good" were married in a religious ceremony about 1000 in Normandie, France.  They had five sons and four daughters, named William Poincius, Richard, "le jeune", "the Younger", "the Devil", "the Magnificent", William, Eleanor, Alice, Emme and Adelais Judith.
