Count Gurwant of Rennes

Gurwant was born in 0840.  Gurwant's father was King Nominoe of Brittany and his mother is Argentael de Bretagne.  His paternal grandfather is Count Frodaldus of Bretagne. He had a brother named Erispoe.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died  due to exhaustion on the battlefield at the age of 37 in 0877.

They had a son and a daughter, named Berenger and Oreguen.
