Malcom III, known as "Ceanmor", "Longneck", "Bighead", was born in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.  "Ceanmor", "Longneck", "Bighead"'s father was King Duncan ("the Gracious") I of Scotland or Strathclyde and his mother was Aelflaed Sybilla FitzSwiward of Northumbria.  His paternal grandfather was Lord Crinan ('Grimus') de Isles and his paternal grandmother is Princess Bethoc mac Máel Coluim of Scotland; his maternal grandparents are Earl Ealred of Northumberland and Lady Aefflaed II of Bernicia. He had a brother named Dunegal. He had a half-brother named "Bane", "the White".  He died on November 13th, 1093 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England.  He was buried in Holy Trinity Church, Dumferline Abbey, Fifeshire, Scotland.

‌"Ceanmor", "Longneck", "Bighead" and "the Exile", "Atheling" were married in a religious ceremony in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Ethelred, Aethelred, David, "the Fierce", Mary, "Atheling" and Thora.
