Alexander, known as "the Fierce", was born in Scotland.  "the Fierce"'s father was King Malcom III ("Ceanmor", "Longneck", "Bighead") of Scotland and his mother was Princess Margaret ("the Exile", "Atheling") of Wessex.  His paternal grandparents were King Duncan ("the Gracious") I of Scotland or Strathclyde and Aelflaed Sybilla FitzSwiward of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Prince Edward ("the Outlaw", "Atheling") of England and Princess Agatha von Brunswick. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Ethelred, Aethelred, David, Mary, "Atheling" and Thora. He had two half-brothers named Duncan and Heth Aethelred.  He died on April 23rd, 1124 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.  He was buried on April 25th, 1124 in Dunfermline Abbe, Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.


"the Fierce"'s family with Queen Sibyl Elizabeth de Failaise of Scotland

‌"the Fierce" and Sibyl Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1107.  They had a daughter named Aveline Ales.
