Edward, known as "the Outlaw", "Atheling", was born about 1016 in Wessex, England.  "the Outlaw", "Atheling"'s father was King Edmund ("Ironside") II of the English and his mother is Ealdgyth.  His paternal grandparents were King Aethelred ("the Unready" (without counsel)) II of the English and Elfreda; his maternal grandfather was King Aethelred ("the Unready" (without counsel)) II of the English.  He was an only child.  He died in 1057 in London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in St Paul Cathedral, London, Middlesex, England.
