Constance was born about 0986 in Toulouse.  Constance's father was William Taillefer III and her mother is Arsinde de Anjou.  Her paternal grandfather was Raimond de Toulouse III and her paternal grandmother is Bertha of Tuscany; her maternal grandparents were Duke Fulk ("le Bon") d'Anjou II of Brittany and Gerberge du Maine. She had a half-brother named Pons Guillaume.  She died on July 25th, 1032 in Melun, France.  She was buried in Abbaye De St Denis, Isle De France, France.

‌Constance and "the Pious" were married in a religious ceremony in 1000 in France.  They had three sons and four daughters, named Henry, "the Old", Robert, Adelaide Havoise, Constance, Adelaide and Hadewide.
