Henry was born in April 1008 in Reims, Champagne, France.  Henry's father was King Robert ("the Pious") Capet II and his mother was Constance de Toulouse.  His paternal grandparents were King Hugh Capet of France and Adela of Aquitaine; his maternal grandfather was William Taillefer III and his maternal grandmother is Arsinde de Anjou. He had two brothers and four sisters, named "the Old", Robert, Adelaide Havoise, Constance, Adelaide and Hadewide.  He died at the age of 52 on August 4th, 1060 in Vitry, Brie, , France.  He was buried in Abbaye De St Denis, St Denis, France.


Henry's family with Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna

‌Henry and Anna Agnesa were married in a religious ceremony on May 19th, 1051 in France.  They had three sons named "the Fair", Hugh Magnus and "the Great", "le Grand".
