Philip, known as "the Fair", was born in 1052 in Reims, Champagne, France.  "the Fair"'s father was King Henry Capet I and his mother was Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna.  His paternal grandparents were King Robert ("the Pious") Capet II and Constance de Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Grand Prince Yaroslav ("the Wise") Wladimirowwitsch I and Princess Ingrid Olafsdottir. He had two brothers named Hugh Magnus and "the Great", "le Grand".  He died at the age of 56 on July 29th, 1108 in Melun, Isle De France, France.  He was buried in St-Benoit-sur-Loire, , France.


"the Fair"'s family with Countess Bertha of Holland

‌"the Fair" and Bertha were married in a religious ceremony in France.  They had a son and a daughter, named "the Fat" and Constansia.
