Olaf, known as "Skotkonung", was born in 0950 in Sweden. "Skotkonung"'s father was King Erik ("Seiersal", "Victorius") Bjornsson VII and his mother was Princess Gunhilda of Poland. His paternal grandfather was King Bjorn ("the Old") Eriksson; his maternal grandparents were Prince Miesko I and Princess Dbubravka. He had a half-sister named Estrid Margarete.
