Estrid Margarete was born about 0997 in Denmark.  Estrid Margarete's father was King Svend ("Forked Beard") Haraldsson I and her mother was Princess Gunhilda of Poland.  Her paternal grandfather was King Harald ("Bluetooth") Gormsson III and her paternal grandmother is Gyrithe Olafsdotter; her maternal grandparents were Prince Miesko I and Princess Dbubravka. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named "Skotkonung", Thyra and Gyda.  She died on May 9th.  She was buried in Cathedral, Roskilde, Roskilde, Denmark.


Estrid Margarete's family with Earl Ulf Thorgilsson

‌Estrid Margarete and Ulf were married in a religious ceremony about 1018.  They had three sons named Svend, Biorn and Asbjorn.
